If you’ve played previous Animal Crossing entries, you’ll know the latest entry on the Switch – Animal Crossing: New Horizons – was slightly underdone on release. Since then, Nintendo has rolled out a bunch of updates (containing new items, buildings, features and characters) to keep players returning to their island.
The wave one summer update will reintroduce swimming and diving, and even a new water encounter with Pascal the otter. Before you can jump in, though, you’re going to need a wet suit – remember those? Yep, just like in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you’ll need to be wearing the right outfit before you can take a dip in the deep sea.
So how can you get one and most importantly – how much will it cost? Well, according to Nintendo’s official Japanese website, you’ll be able to purchase one of these fancy wet suits from Timmy and Tommy’s shop for approximately 3,000 Bells.
Alternatively, you’ll be able to trade in 800 Nook miles to get a special Nook Inc. wet suit delivered to your mailbox (see above). Nintendo will also be sending a letter containing a snorkel coloured either red, yellow or blue.
Will you be diving back into Animal Crossing: New Horizons on 3rd July to try out this update? Tell us below.
