The Pokémon Company has today revealed Pokémon Unite, a new team-based battle game heading to Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.
The news comes from today’s Pokémon Presents livestream hosted by company president, Tsunekazu Ishihara, who announced that the game is being made in conjunction with Tencent Games and TiMi Studios.
It’ll be a free-to-start experience that includes crossplay across Switch and mobile, with players coming together to compete in real-time battles.
A release date hasn’t yet been shared, with more information on the game’s release promised to arrive in the future.
