Update: iam8bit has now confirmed that the standard physical editions of Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps for Nintendo Switch will launch on 8th December. Both physical editions will retail for $39.99 / €39.99 and are available for pre-order at retailers around the globe starting today.

Original Article (Tue 22nd Sep, 2020 07:45 BST): Last week, Moon Studios’ highly praised platform-adventure game Ori and the Will of the Wisps got a surprise release on the Nintendo Switch.
A gorgeous collector’s edition was also announced (containing both games was announced) by iam8bit, and it will set you back $150. If you don’t want all the extra goodies, though, the good news both games are getting stand physical releases at select retailers later this year:
According to Nintendo Everything, iam8bit has narrowed down the physical release date. It will reportedly be arriving this December. Obviously, both games in their standalone form will cost a lot less than the collector’s edition.
