After months of rumours and retailer listings, EA has finally lifted the lid on Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered. The remaster (based on Criterion’s 2010 release) is being handled by Stellar Entertainment – previously responsible for Burnout Paradise Remastered.
The good news is it’s been confirmed for the Switch, but the downside is it’s not arriving until 6th November. That’s a week after the game’s release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC (November 6th).
This remaster will include cross-platform multiplayer, Autolog (cross-platform sync) and all DLC will be included. Here’s how the game will run on the Nintendo Switch, according to the official game page:
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered has been upgraded for today’s generation of hardware with enhanced visuals. The Nintendo Switch version runs at 1080p/30 FPS in docked mode (720p/30 FPS undocked) and includes higher-resolution models, more objects and props, longer draw distance, higher resolution shadows, and improved videos.
