While we’ve been waiting for the return of the Mother video game series, the Hobonichi Mother Project has been filling the void with all sorts of goodies.
To top it off, it’s now announced it will temporarily open two shop displays in Japan to sell Mother merchandise. The first shop, in Osaka, will open up later this month on 19th November and will operate through till 6th December. It will then move on to Tokyo, with its doors open from 14th – 27th December.
Some highlights within the shop will be a display of the Mother no Kotoba script book and a giant Mr. Saturn Plush – the biggest one on record. The shop will also sell all sorts of items that have been revealed throughout 2020 including the Franklin Badge, bead charms, and smaller plushies of notable characters.
While this may not be related to a new game or re-release, it’s nice to know this series hasn’t been completely forgotten about.
