A new Kickstarter project has appeared, and this time it’s not a farming sim – it’s something a little bit different.
Beacon Pines is a “cute and creepy adventure” that takes place within a magical storybook, where you – both the reader and the main character of the book, Luka – decide the story by filling in words, Mad Libs-style.
Looking like Twin Peaks meets Night In The Woods with a healthy dose of Wind In The Willows, Beacon Pines’ story is still a bit of a mystery, although it looks like it involves a town that clings to the past, old secrets being revealed, and maybe a reveal that Laura Palmer was killed by a really cute raccoon. Ok, maybe that last one’s not true.
The Kickstarter goal is $30,000 (about £20k) and it’s currently about halfway done in its first day.
