While the majority of Super Smash Bros. fans may have stopped playing the original Nintendo 64 entry many years ago, there’s still a passionate community out there showing plenty of love for it via a mod called Smash Remix.
It updates the game with new characters, levels, and more, and in the latest patch, it’s added Bowser – a character that was never actually playable in the N64 release. Bowser even gets his own special Smash-style intro and alongside him is the release of Giga Bowser.
While Bowser never made his official debut in the Smash Bros. series until Super Smash Bros. Melee on the GameCube, he was supposedly in the original game as a playable character during development but was ultimately scrapped.
