There have already been many delays this year, and now to add to this, Universal Studios in Japan has officially postponed the launch of Super Nintendo World. Sorry folks, but the park will no longer open this summer due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It’s not exactly a surprise after the 2020 Summer Olympics got pushed back to 2021 for the same reason. The opening of Super Nintendo World was meant to line-up with Tokyo 2020, but the plan is to now hold off until Fall or next year according to Nikkei.
Over the past month, there have been regular updates on the park – with most of it reportedly complete. Just last weekend, a new video of Yoshi in action was shared online, and prior to this, there was a first look at some spinning coins.
