Tales of Vesperia’s been kicking around since 2008, but it never arrived on Nintendo platforms until 2019. Released as a Definitive Edition, it still offers a fine JRPG experience, and we awarded it 8/10 stars.
Announcing the news earlier today, Bandai Namco revealed Vesperia’s Definitive Edition has reached one million sales after two years. To celebrate, they’re launching a discount campaign in Japan until March 3rd.
Whilst not directly related to that celebration, Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is included in Bandai Namco’s recent eShop sale, currently available at $12.49 until February 25th for North America.
Europe hasn’t been quite as lucky, but Nintendo did announce a “Digital Deals” sale which goes live tomorrow, so it could get discounted then.
Surprised it’s taken this long to reach one million sales? Plan on picking it up at a discount? Share your thoughts below.
