When Nintendo and Koei Tecmo announced Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity – a game set 100 years ahead of the events of Breath of the Wild, many Zelda fans hoped to finally get a glimpse of the ranch before it was in ruins.
Well, it turns out Lon Lon Ranch has in fact been added to Age of Calamity. In the latest Treehouse: Live stream, Nintendo’s reps showed off a training mission featuring a shirtless hammer-wielding Link fighting off waves of soldiers and even the Goron Champion Daruk.
“This location is very familiar, it appeared as ruins in Breath of the Wild, but now before the calamity, it’s in its heyday. And it’s very cool to see what it looked like before it got destroyed.”
It didn’t take long for social media to start comparing this map to Lon Lon Ranch from Breath of the Wild and the same location in the Nintendo 64 game, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
