No, It’s Not Just You: YouTube Is Down Now

24

YouTube was experiencing serious issues as of 4:15 p.m. PT.

While you can still search for content on the streaming service, the videos either take a very long time to start or show an error message.

Data from Downdetector, which monitors such matters, suggests the issue is affecting users globally, with parts of the U.S. and Europe particularly badly affected.

YouTube responded with a message on Twitter, saying: “If you’re having trouble watching videos on YouTube right now, you’re not alone – our team is aware of the issue and working on a fix. We’ll follow up here with any updates.”
