Japanese Charts: Nintendo Switch Claims The Entire Top 10 This Week

36

Famitsu’s Japanese chart figures are now in for 19th – 25th October 2020, showing that Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit has slipped down to number 5 as Animal Crossing: New Horizons regains the top spot in time for Halloween.

Impressively, Switch games take every one of the top 10 entries, with Minecraft at number 7 and Pokémon Sword and Shield being the only entries not published solely by Nintendo — FIFA 21 for PS4 slipped down to number 12 behind Splatoon 2 at 12.

Much further down the list, the belated physical release of the excellent Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda debuted in 24th place.
