At Gamescom 2020, Megagon revealed a paid expansion for its scenic mountain bike title, Lonely Mountains: Downhill.
The Eldfjall Island DLC – coming “soon” to the Nintendo Switch and multiplayer other platforms – sees your rider travel by boat to a new location filled with all-new environmental and weather hazards (so expect a lot more crashes).
There’ll also be unlockable outfits, helmets, paint jobs, and even unlockable backpacks. Publisher Thuderful says it’s the largest mountain in the game yet. Here’s a look at the official reveal trailer:
When Lonely Mountains: Downhill first landed on the Switch in May, we awarded it nine out of ten stars and said it was an absolute freewheeling delight.
